What is a Complementii Card?
A Complementti Card is a way to share a personal compliment with someone. The compliment is stored online for that person and may be accessed by entering the unique code found on the card when visiting the Complimentii Website www.complementii.com or by using the Complementii app. The card my be reused with a new message and shared with another person. The Complementii Card enables a personal, though not intrusive way to make contact with another person.
Why and under which circumstances might a Complimentii Card be used?
Whether for personal or professional reasons the Complimentii Card can be used at any moment and at any time to share a compliment, a personal message or words of inspiration. Digitally creating the message may take place before or after sharing the card by using the Complimentii App or Website.
What is the intent behind doing something good and the donation of 10% of the revenue from the sale of the cards?
We value the work of charitable organizations which work to positively impact society, therefore 10 % of Complimentii GmbH proceeds will go directly to support the Make-A-Wish Foundation. This organization fulfills the wishes of children confronted with terminal illnesses in order to strengthen their spirit and to enable a moment of joy.

Someone shared a Complimentii Card with me. What do I do now?
Congratulations! Someone has created a compliment for you on www.complimentii.com. Visit the Website or download the Complimentii App and enter the unique code found on each card. As an alternative you may wish to scan the card with the Complimentii App for iOS or Android and read your message while on the go. Create an account to collect your compliments and re-use your cards to share with a new compliment for the next person. Don't let it stop with you!
I received a threatening or insulting message. What do I do?
We regret that someone has used a Complimentii Card in such an inappropriate manner. You can register this immediately with us by clicking the Register Abuse button. We are unable to prevent the misuse of a card and data protection laws do not permit us to read messages saved to our platform. If you wish to contact the police about the message, please keep the card to use as evidence. You may also wish to simply overwrite the inappropriate message with a positive one and share the card and a compliment with someone else.
I have a Complimentii Card with a message which is not for me. Can I return the card somewhere?
Returning a card to the person who generated a message may be challenging. We suggest you keep the card, enter the card code online and create a new compliment to share with someone else.
I received a card with a message from an anonymous person. Are you able to share the name of that person with me?
This is not possible. Each person with a card in their possesion makes the decision whether or not they wish to share their identity with the receiver of the card. We are unable to share names due to data protection legislation.
I received a Complimentii Card and after entering the code number I find no message.
Most likely the person wishing to give you the compliment has not yet created the message. We are happy to let you know once the message has been created. To enable this you need only leave your email address with us.
I found an Complimentii Card with no message on it. May I use this card?
Certainly. You may associate any card number with your profile on our site. Should the card indeed contain a message you are able to delete this at any time from your collection of compliments.
Is the original card message visable when I share the card with someone else?
Once you have read your compliment, accepted it and stored it in your collection of compliments to enjoy reading again in the future, the compliment is then deleted from the card and ready to receive the next compliment to be shared.
I purchased a card set and assigned them to my profil. How do I now create a compliment to share?
Once you have selected the card you wish to share from your selection, simply click on the online card in the text field and create your next compliment for sharing. You can always decide which contact details you want to share.
Am I required to create a compliment before I share the card?
No. You may share your Complimentii Card whenever you wish. You may want to take some time to think about the compliment you will write based on the spontaneous feeling and moment that made you feel a need to share the physical card. Think about your motive for wanting to share a compliment and do not let the moment escape you.
I shared a Complimentii Card with an online message already created. Am I able to change my message?
Once you share the physical card with another person with the compliment already created, it is no longer possible to change the text.
How do I know whether my compliment has been read?
We are constantly working to improve our service. In the near future the person with whom you shared the card will have the ability to invite you to an online chat and thank you personally for your kind words.
Can I attach images, videos or audio files to my compliment?
Not yet, though this is planned for the future. You may certainly share a link with your compliment.
I was given a Complimentii Card. Am I required to create a user account in order to read my compliment?
No. Each receiver of a card may go online to read their compliment without having to register. After reading your compliment you decide whether you wish to register for a free account on www.complimentii.com.
Does the receiver of the Complimentii Card see my personal information?
Each person sharing a compliment decides which information to share with each given card. You have the ability in the user profile to decide which information to share on a card-by-card basis.
How do I create a Complimentii profile?
After registering your email address with www.complimentii.com, you will receive a confirmation email with an activation link. After clicking on the activiation link, you may visit the site to create your user profile. You may wish to share your name, your contact details and perhaps an image of yourself. From this point onward all of your received compliments will be saved to your compliment collection. You will also see available Complimentii Cards associated with your accoount which you may use to share a new compliment.
What may I do after registering on Complementii.com?
Registering enables you to see the information shared with you by the person giving you the card, the collection of compliments and the free sharing of your cards with others (naturally with your newly created message to someone else).
How safe is my data?
We place great importance on protecting your information. You will find our data protection policy on our Website.
Am I required to register with your platform in order to order Complimentii Cards?
No. You may order physical cards from the Complimentii Card shop at any time using PayPal. Once you wish to create and share compliments, you will need to register with the site.
Where am I able to purchase Complimentii Cards?
Complimentti Cards may be ordered from www.complimentii.com and are available in bundles of 5. Card designs and series will be updated on a regular basis. Payment is facilitated via PayPal. Complementii Cards will be sent to you within 3-4 days.
My Complimentii Cards have arrived. What now?
Once you have received your Complimentii Cards you may enter each card's code and they will be assigned to your profile and ready-for-use. After that you are registered you may use the Complimentii App to create your compliments.
Am I able to order Complimentii Cards and have them delivered to an address outside of Germany?
How do I pay for my Complimentii Cards?
When purchasing the cards you will automatically be transferred to PayPal for any easy-to-use payment experience. You may also select to prepay your order and we will ship the cards to you as soon as we receive you payments.
Are Complimentii Cards available only in packs of 5?
For the moment, yes. In the future we plan to enable sets to be put together with a mixture of cards selected by you!
Am I able to cancel an order?
You may cancel your order up to 24 hours after placing an order. We will refund your payment to your PayPal account.
How long must I wait for my Complimentii Cards to be delivered?
You should expect to receive your cards in the post in 3 to 5 working days.
